Meet Kaylinh:
The Heart Behind the Mission

Kaylinh Lundell is a six-year-old living in Western PA who is a proud Vietnamese-American. She isn’t a child prodigy or a famous influencer—she is a kid with a big heart and a box of crayons. Her drawings are pure 6-year-old magic: colorful, joyful, whimsical, and full of imagination.

Kaylinh believes childhood should be simple:

“A kid’s job should be to be cute, to be funny, to go to school, to play with friends, and to hope that their parents say yes to ice cream after dinner… not to be wishing to feel better.”

When she isn’t at her drawing table working on the Draw For A Dream mission, Kaylinh is busy with what she calls "mischief." This usually involves using Mommy or Daddy as a human mountain to climb or turning them into "horses" for a ride around the living room. Our house is also the frequent site of spontaneous, high-energy dance parties!

Kaylinh loves the pride that comes with learning new things. She is currently our "apprentice" for all things home-related—from scrubbing dishes and making beds to helping in the kitchen. She was very excited to learn how to fold laundry (though, in true 6-year-old fashion, the novelty wore off once she realized how much laundry there actually is!).

Her creativity doesn't stop with paper. Kaylinh is a master of "upcycling," often seen dragging a cardboard box into the room to transform it into a new toy, a makeup palette, or a purse.

Every time she climbs a "parent mountain" or builds something out of a box, she is living out her mission: showing the world that a healthy child's only job is to play, imagine, and dream.

If you have any questions, comments, or want to get involved in this mission, please leave your info and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
