DRAW . DARE . DONATE
Cancer doesn’t take a day off. 24 hours a day, children fighting cancer are struggling when they should be dreaming, playing, and just being kids.
At Draw For A Dream, our goal is simple: we want to help these brave children feel like kids again. We are on a mission to spread hope across social media, and we need your help to do it.
Join the #DrawForADreamDare today!
How to Take the Dare
Step 1 - DRAW
Set a timer, open your camera and press record.
Say:"Hi, I'm [Your Name], and I’m doing the #DrawForADreamDare. I’m drawing for 24 seconds to honor the 24 hours a day a child fights cancer."
Then, draw for 24 seconds!
Step 2 - DARE
Share your video on social media with this caption:
“I dare [Friend 1], [Friend 2], and [Friend 3] to draw. You have 24 hours!"
Tag @drawforadream and use hashtag #DrawForADreamDare
Step 3 - DONATE
Go to our St. Jude page and donate $24. Your gift joins thousands of others to ensure that no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food.
Why 24?
We designed this dare so that every single action you take means something real.
THE DRAW (24 Seconds)
A small moment of your time to acknowledge their whole day of being brave.
THE DONATION ($24)
A contribution to the St. Jude "all-inclusive" model. It ensures no family ever pays for a day of care.
THE RESULT (24 Hours)
Your gift joins a “village” of others to fund a full day of medicine, research, and play—giving a child 24 hours to just be a kid.
Your drawing does not have to be “good.” It does not have to be pretty, or finished, or recognizable as anything at all. This movement was started by a six-year-old girl named Kaylinh Lundell who believed that a crayon — even a broken one — is enough to change the world. She was right.
So pick up whatever you have. Draw something. Anything.
And know that for 24 seconds, you show up for a child at St. Jude.
That is everything.
